The plastic agglomerator machine is a plastic recycling machine designed to crush and agglomerate thermoplastic film, fiber waste, and other soft plastic materials. It uses high-speed cutting and friction to heat the material, making loose plastic waste more compact and easier to reuse.
Our agglomerator is available in models with a production capacity of 100–500 kg/h. The machine can process plastic film, soft plastic pipes, plastic fibers, strips, sheets, and similar waste. It can also be used for mixing and coloring new plastic materials or a mixture of new and recycled materials.
Main features of the plastic densifier
- The inner chamber is made of 304 stainless steel. This material provides a durable and suitable working surface for processing plastic waste.
- The electrical components use CHINT components, and the equipment is supplied with an independent electrical control cabinet.
- The working chamber uses a cylinder-operated door, which makes opening and closing more convenient during feeding, cleaning, and maintenance.
- The 300 L model is equipped with a 37 kW, 4-pole main motor using standard pure-copper enameled wire. Other models use different motor powers according to their processing capacity.

What materials can a plastic agglomerator process?
The plastic film densifier machine is mainly suitable for soft thermoplastic materials, including:
- Plastic film
- LDPE plastic film
- Waste plastic bags
- Agricultural film
- Soft plastic pipes
- Plastic fibers
- Plastic strips
- Plastic sheets
- Thermoplastic fiber waste
- New plastic materials
- Mixtures of new and recycled plastic
The actual material suitability depends on the plastic type, moisture content, thickness, size, and other physical properties.

How does a plastic agglomerator machine work?
The working process combines mechanical cutting with frictional heating to turn loose plastic waste into agglomerated material.
1. Crushing and friction heating
After the plastic enters the working chamber, the moving knives and fixed knives continuously cut and crush the material.
At the same time, friction between the plastic and the rotating components generates heat. The material quickly becomes soft and reaches a semi-plasticized state. As the temperature rises, plastic particles begin to stick together and form small agglomerates.
2. Cold water controls the material temperature
When the material is close to clumping, cold water is injected into the working chamber.
The water comes into contact with the hot plastic and quickly vaporizes. This removes surface heat from the material and helps control the temperature during the agglomeration process.
3. Cutting and discharging
Materials that have not yet formed suitable agglomerates continue to be processed by the moving and fixed knives.
The cutting action gradually forms the material into irregular particles. The processed plastic is then discharged through the outlet, completing the agglomeration process.

How much does it cost to invest in a plastic film densifier?
The price of a plastic film recycling agglomerator is generally around $2,000–$10,000 USD. The final price depends mainly on the machine capacity, motor power, machine volume, knife configuration, electrical components, and other customized requirements.
Smaller models with a capacity of around 100 kg/h are usually at the lower end of this range, while larger 300–500 kg/h models require a higher investment due to their larger working chamber and motor power.
For an accurate quotation, you can provide your required capacity, plastic material, and power supply. We can then recommend a suitable model and provide the corresponding price.
Plastic densifier vs plastic crusher machine
Although both machines process waste plastic, their functions are different.
The plastic crusher mainly reduces large plastic waste into smaller pieces. It is commonly used for rigid plastic materials such as plastic pipes, containers, sheets, and other bulky items.
The plastic agglomerator machine is more suitable for lightweight and flexible materials such as plastic film, bags, and fibers. Besides cutting, it uses frictional heat to soften and agglomerate the material into denser irregular particles.
What to confirm before buying plastic agglomerator?
Before purchasing a plastic densifier machine, several details should be confirmed to make sure the machine matches your recycling requirements.
- Plastic material
- process per hour
- Material condition
- Working hours
- Power supply
- Output requirements
- Special requirements
Providing raw material photos, material type, required capacity, and power supply can help determine the appropriate plastic agglomerator model and configuration.
